Why Japan, why now

Japan needs you — this is the moment

Japan's population is shrinking and ageing fast. It needs hundreds of thousands of workers from overseas — and now welcomes them legally and with open arms.

Under the 2025 India–Japan plan, the two governments aim to exchange over 500,000 people in five years — including 50,000 skilled workers from India to Japan.

The West may pay more and use English. But Japan is one of the safest, cleanest and most comfortable countries in the world — and a place where women feel secure.

What is SSW?

The SSW (特定技能) visa, explained

SSW — “Specified Skilled Worker” (特定技能) — is a Japanese work visa for foreign nationals in industries that need workers. It lets you live and work in Japan legally, with the same pay and conditions as Japanese workers.

The SSW visa covers 16 industry fields. The four in orange are where we focus — the best fit for Indian workers. Fields marked Paused are currently full and closed to new applicants.

Caregiving 介護
Food & Beverage Manufacturing 飲食料品製造業
Manufacturing 製造業
Construction 建設
Agriculture 農業
Building cleaning ビルクリーニング
Accommodation 宿泊
Fishery 漁業
Shipbuilding 造船・舶用工業
Auto maintenance 自動車整備
Aviation 航空
Road transport 自動車運送業
Railway 鉄道
Forestry 林業
Wood industry 木材産業
Food service 外食業Paused

Agriculture (農業) is a great fit if you come from a farming area in West Bengal — ask us about it.

Which field is right for you?

Japan plans to accept up to 820,000 SSW workers in 2024–2029 — the biggest openings are in manufacturing, food & beverage and caregiving, exactly where we train you. The 2025 India–Japan plan is making this pathway official, too (e-Migrate listing, NSDC cooperation).

Food & Beverage Manufacturing 飲食料品製造業

The easiest exam and the most job openings — your fastest route to Japan.

≈139,000 openings (2024–29)

Caregiving 介護

Bring your family and aim for permanent residency. Indian caregivers grew 80%+ in a single year.

Japanese level a little higher

Manufacturing 製造業

The largest intake of all SSW fields — a wide, steady door into Japan.

≈173,000 openings (2024–29)

Construction 建設

Strong, lasting demand with a comparatively lower language barrier.

High demand

Two things you need to qualify

  • 1. A Japanese language test — JFT-Basic (A2) or JLPT N4. This is exactly what we train you for.
  • 2. A skills test for your chosen field (caregiving, construction, and so on).

And you'll need Japanese not just to pass the test — but to live and work comfortably in Japan every day.

Stay 5 years — then bring your family

SSW Type 1 lets you work in Japan for up to 5 years. After that, by passing the Type 2 exam you can move to SSW Type 2 — which renews indefinitely, lets you bring your family, and opens a path toward permanent residency.
